Abril Reynés Cardona
Abril Reynés Cardona, holding a Bachelor of Environmental Sciences from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain) and an International Master of Sciences in Marine Biological Resources (IMBRSea), is a dedicated marine scientist committed to unravelling the interactions between marine ecosystems and human activities. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Ghent University and the Institute of Natural Sciences as part of the METRIC project. Abril’s objective is to gain a comprehensive understanding of how both global change and local human activities impact ecosystem services integrating elements of food-web topology and ecosystem functioning.
