Robin Brabant graduated as a Master in Biology and Master in Environmental Sciences and Technologies at Ghent University. Within the Institute of Natural Sciences, he has been involved in the entire environmental permitting process of the first round of offshore wind farms in the Belgian part of the North Sea and the environmental monitoring programme from its start in 2008. He developed expertise in the environmental impacts of offshore wind farms and is currently studying the effects on (sea)birds and bats.
