Danae Kapasakali
Danae Kapasakali (BSc in Biology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece; Erasmus Mundus MSc in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation, EMBC) is a marine biologist and a well experienced marine invertebrate taxonomist. She has been working at the Institute of Natural Sciences since 2016 and has been involved in several projects focusing on the biodiversity and functioning of benthic communities in hard substrates. She is also responsible for the implementation of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive monitoring programme for natural hard substrate communities, and the management of the MARECO lab facilities.
