Mario Gaitán Arce

Mario holds an International Master of Science in Marine Biological Resources (IMBRSea) from Ghent University. He brings experience in coordination and management of European projects. Currently, he contributes to projects related to Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) across European sea basins, supporting governance and co-management processes, policy-making, and stakeholder participation in marine conservation initiatives.
