Rita Trabulo

Rita Trabulo holds a Master of Science in Marine Biology and Conservation from ISPA and the University of Lisbon (Portugal). During her studies, she focused on bioacoustics, specifically investigating the impact of boat noise on fish larvae and Cuvier’s beaked whales.

With experience in marine spatial planning and marine restoration within the NGO sector, Rita is passionate about fostering adequate stakeholder involvement and building bridges between science and policy. Currently, she contributes to European projects aimed at enhancing marine protection across various European basins, promoting ecological connectivity and safeguarding vital marine ecosystems.
