Bob Rumes (PhD in Sciences, Ghent University 2010) is an aquatic ecologist and policy advisor with extensive experience in studying the interactions between human activities and biodiversity-ecosystem functioning. He is currently researching the ecological consequences of the development of marine renewables in the North Sea with a focus on marine mammals.
